Spring is officially here, and it’s the perfect time for our kids to burn off some energy! 

I came across this recruitment notice while checking multicultural-family resources in Seoul. Even though my baby is still too young to apply, I read the requirements carefully because I know how hard it is for international families to find trustworthy, affordable after-school programs. The two things I double-checked were (1) whether foreigners/multicultural families are eligible and (2) the exact field schedule near my area, because missing classes can lead to disqualification. 

How about letting your child learn soccer from the professional coaches of FC Seoul—for FREE?

My baby is still 0 years old, so we can't apply yet, but I really hope older brothers and sisters in kindergarten or elementary school take this chance!

안녕하세요, 88한 열매맘입니다. 봄기운이 완연해지면서 우리 아이들이 밖에서 마음껏 뛰어놀기 딱 좋은 계절이 왔죠? 오늘은 서울시에서 지원하는 정말 '대박' 혜택을 가져왔습니다. 바로 FC서울 코치님들에게 직접 축구를 배울 수 있는 기회예요!

저는 서울에서 다문화가정/외국인가정 지원 정보를 찾아보다가 이번 모집 공고를 발견했어요. 제 아이는 아직 0세라서 지원을 못하지만, 유치원이나 초등학교에 다니는 형들 누나들은 꼭 신청하면 좋겠어요. 

주변 글로벌맘들에게 도움 될 것 같아서 조건을 꼼꼼히 읽어봤습니다. 특히 ① 다문화/외국인가정 자격이 맞는지 ② 집에서 가까운 구장/시간표가 가능한지(결석 페널티가 크더라고요) 이 두 가지를 먼저 체크했어요.

다들 축구 클럽 등에서 축구 배우는 게 정말 비싸고, 찾기도 어렵잖아요? FC 서울 코치님들에게 직접 배우는 기회인데 게다가 무료라니!!! 이건 못 참죠! 마포, 구로, 관악, 동작, 구리시 거주하는 엄마들은 집에서도 가깝고~ 빨리 신청하세요!!!

⚽ Program Overview 
2026년 FC서울 유소년 축구교실 개요

This program is designed to support the healthy growth of children from multicultural and foreign families in Seoul.

Period: April – November 2026 (8 months).

Support: Weekly soccer classes + 1 Special event (Watching an FC Seoul match).
주 1회 유소년 축구교실 수업 및 FC서울 홈경기 관람 등 특별활동

Cost: FREE (교육비 무료라니 무료라니!).

✅ Eligibility (신청 자격)

Residence: Registered residents in Seoul. (서울시 거주-신청일 기준 주민등록 기준!) 
**Eligibility is based on being a registered resident of Seoul, even though some classes are held at a field located in Guri.

Age: Children aged 5 to 12 (Born between 2014 and 2020). 만 5세~12세 

Family Type: Multicultural or Foreigner resident families.

다문화 정보포털 '한울타리' 누리집 또는 마이서울(My Seoul) 앱에 들어간 다음,  회원가입 후 공지사항의 'FC서울 모집공고' 배너 클릭해서 신청하세요! 

Documents Needed: Resident Registration or Family Relation Certificate. (For foreigners: Certificate of Alien Registration). 
주민등록등본, 가족관계증명서 또는 외국인등록사실증명서 (PDF/이미지 업로드 필수)

Submission: Upload as PDF or image files on the application page.

💡Yeolmae-mam’s Pro Tips! 

대상자 선정할 때 우선 순위가 저소득층 가정 > 신규 신청자 > 기존회원 중 재신청자 라고 해요. 게다가 남, 여 성비를 위해 여자 아이들을 최우선 선정한다고 하니, 축구를 좋아하는 딸아이가 있다면 당첨 확률이 훨씬 높을 거예요~

Priority: Low-income families > New applicants > Re-applicants.

Girls First: To balance the gender ratio, female applicants are given the highest priority! (축구를 좋아하는 딸 가진 엄마들 서두르세요!) 

Attendance Warning: If you miss more than 4 classes in 2 months, your spot will be given to someone on the waiting list. If you drop out or lose your spot, you will be banned from applying for 1 year. 

그리고 꼭 주의해야 하는 사항이 있어요. 신청자들이 워낙 많아서 대기자들이 있거든요. 2개월 동안 4번 이상 결석하면 참여 자격이 박탈돼요. 중도 이탈자가 발생하면 바로 대기자가 참여를 하게 된답니다. 중도 이탈 또는 자격 박탈자의 경우 향후 1년간 심사 대상조차 안 된다고 하니ㅠㅠ 신중하게 스케줄을 잘 확인하여 신청하세요!
