평일에는 교육 IT 회사에서 Strategic Planning Team Lead(전략기획팀 리드)로 일하고, 퇴근 후엔 한국 정부 정책과 생활 정보를 한국어·영어로 정리하는 37세 워킹맘이랍니다. 지금은 2026년 여름 출산을 앞두고 육아휴직 중이에요. 🤰

💡 왜 이 블로그를 시작했나요?

서울에서 아이를 준비하면서 임신바우처, 산후도우미, 서울시 의료비 지원 같은 제도들을 하나하나 직접 신청해 봤어요. 그런데 한국인인 저조차도 정보가 흩어져 있어서 정말 헤맸답니다.

곁에서 함께 일하던 외국인 동료들은 더 답답해했어요. "한국에 살면서 받을 수 있는 혜택이 이렇게 많은데, 영어로 정리된 곳이 거의 없네…"라는 생각이 계속 들었고, "그럼 내가 한번 정리해보자"라는 마음으로 이 블로그를 시작했어요.

🤗 Hello!

I'm 88YeolmaeMam (88한 열매맘) — a 37-year-old Seoul-based working mom and content creator.

By day, I work as a Strategic Planning Team Lead at an EdTech company. By night (and now during my parental leave!), I research and translate Korean family-policy and lifestyle information into English. I'm currently expecting my first baby in Summer 2026. 🤰

💡 Why I started this blog

While preparing for my baby in Seoul, I personally applied for benefits like pregnancy vouchers (임신바우처), postpartum care subsidies (산후도우미), and Seoul's medical support programs. The process turned out to be surprisingly complex — even for a Korean native.

I kept thinking about my international colleagues at work. They live, marry, work, and raise families in Korea — yet most of these support programs simply aren't documented in English. So I decided to build the resource I wished I'd had.
